After 10 years in the Higher Education Industry as a Wrestling Coach/Director of Admissions, I joined Fish Window Cleaning® as a Franchise Business Coach. I jumped on the opportunity to utilize my coaching experience to help guide new franchisees in growing their business and to spend WAY more time with my family. I spent four years at Lindenwood University – Belleville in Belleville, IL, as the Director of Admissions and the Head Wrestling Coach for the Men’s and Women’s wrestling programs. Prior to my time at Lindenwood, I spent six years at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO as the Assistant Director of International Student Admissions and the Head Assistant Wrestling Coach for both the Men’s and Women’s wrestling programs. I have a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, an MS in Sports Management, and a PhD in Business Administration and Marketing.
So why CrossFit?
I needed a way to workout now that a wrestling mat wasn’t 24/7 in my life and CrossFit gives me an avenue to better myself. I was a wrestler throughout elementary school, high school, and even into college and CrossFit allows me to continue that competitive drive. I have the privilege every day to compete against my current best self and to make it even better and so do YOU. The one unique idea of CrossFit is the idea of chasing Virtuosity. Virtuosity is like perfection. You never really attain it but the key is to find the strongest conviction of a vision for yourself, and I hope that you never stop chasing it! My goal for myself and for YOU is to guide you into the right habits where you constantly want to chase your own virtuosity.
CrossFit is a family of members and coaches who want to see you reach your goals. Not only will you get the training you need for proper technique and safety but you will get to see yourself knock down walls you once thought impossible. The Ford motor company at one time in its early years had this motto of KAIZEN, better known to its American workers as C.A.N.I., which means Constant and Never-ending Improvement. This idea plays out daily in our gym…..all you have to do is walk through the doors with an unwavering conviction.
What Drives Me?
We are driven by five genetic needs: survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun. I get all of these from my family and when I say family I mean my immediate family and my CrossFit family. My “family” allows me to nourish all five of my genetic needs and to do so in a competitive atmosphere which works well for my background. I better myself in some aspect every day because of CrossFit and it drives me to keep habitually coming in the door.

My Biggest Achievement?
My family is number one. My beautiful wife and kids are my biggest achievements. Outside of this, my biggest achievements have been winning Two Collegiate National Titles, Two High School State Titles, competing in England for a World Title, and coaching 5 National Champions.
