I fell in love with Crossfit because it truly is scalable for any level. I love that it is functional and can dramatically increase the quality of life of every participant. I love teaching the movements and skills and seeing people progress and achieve things they never imagined they could. As a former college athlete, I find that Crossfit helps me to stay competitive and push myself while continuously improving in certain areas.
I spent a few years after college personal training, and then got interested in sports performance. Along with my CrossFit Level 1 certification, I am a certified personal trainer through ACSM, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA and have my undergraduate degree in Exercise & Wellness. While getting my masters in Exercise Physiology, I was a graduate assistant for Strength and Conditioning at SIUE and then moved to Denver for a sports performance position. I have since moved back to STL and am currently the director of the fitness department at a local country club. I feel very fortunate that I get to make a career out of my biggest passion, health and fitness. I am excited to be coaching at Crossfit North County and look forward to spending more time there!
