What is your athletic background?
I practiced mixed martial arts for 3 years
What do you do for a living?
I am a warehouse manager for an electrical wholesaler, while working towards my personal training
How long have you been CrossFitting?
For about 6 months now
Have you trained before? If so, what are the differences you like about CrossFit than your past training?
Yes, I mostly did isolated movements like bicep curls and tricep extentions and didn’t really focus on
full body exercises. Crossfit really challenged me to use every muscle in my body and push past my
King Kong (one day I will be able to RX it)
Favorite CrossFit moment:
Every time I tell myself I can’t finish a WOD and I prove myself wrong.
What is one of your main goals for CrossFit?
To be a better athlete
What do you do outside of the box that is going to help your performance inside the box?
I just try to live a healthier, happier, lifestyle by clean eating, keeping stress down, and getting plenty of
What do you enjoy on your leisure time?
Watching movies, hanging with friends, listening to live music
What advice would you give a new CrossFitter?
Stay motivated and push yourself every day. It never gets easier but you get better…and on your bad
days, just follow my lead and get in your car, drive to the box, walk in the front door, and figure it out
